Review - Superman Family Adventures #1

Hi guys!! Welcome to Superman's Fortress Of Solitude Comic Reviews!! Today I will be reviewing Superman Family Adventures #1!!

I am really disappointed that the Tiny Titans Kids Comic Book Series has ended!! But the good news is that the same crew has created this NEW Series and it's about Superman!!

The Story starts with a meteor crashing to Earth. Then the old but awesome phrase comes....

"It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman!!" and Kal saves the day! When you look at Superman, DC Comics want this to be about The New 52 because he was wearing his Kryptonian Armour!! Back to the story....After that, he comes back to the Daily Planet as Clark Kent. We see Perry White and Lois Lane. Now we think that this is going to be like the Old Days!! Then, there was a big BOOM!! and so Kent turns to Superman in the Old-Fashioned Way!! It's AWESOME!!

The big BOOM happens to be giant robots with L,E,X on them (As seen on the front cover). Superman battles them and then guess who comes?? Supergirl, Superboy and Krypto!! Well it was obvious they were going to come because of the title of the Comic Book!! (Superman Family Adventures #1) Oh Yeah!! Jimmy has a crush on Supergirl.....

So the Super Family keep fighting and then we find out who is behind this attack!! Lex Luthor!!! (It was obviously obvious!!!) And Lex wants Superman's Powers!! So he gets his Power Suit, and one of his robots try to zap Superman but......

KRYPTO SAVES HIM!!

Guess what happens next???

Since Lex's Mouse was beside Luthor, both of them got powers ( Because of the Zap Gun)

But since he has a Superdog's powers..... he acts like a dog!! Now that's FUNNY!! And.... Lex's Mouse can now talk!! Back at the battle, the SuperFamily destroys the 3 robots and they find out LEX is behind all this. Then, Luthor appears, he BARKS and Superman breaks his Power Suit. The Mouse's name appears to be Fussy (sorry for not mentioning that) and Lex is turned back to normal. In the end, Fuzzy joins the Super Family!! Krypto tells him that talking in front of humans is strange.

I believe that the creators have done a really, really, really good job!!

I would rate this Comic Book 5 out of 5 House Of El Logos!!

February 16, 2013: WB Execs Thrilled With "Man of Steel"

Fox News Latino spoke with Latino-Review's El Mayimbe about a major Star Wars scoop, but during their video chat he also dropped some exciting news about "Man of Steel".
Apparently Warner Bros. executives and their families were treated to a preview screening of "Man of Steel" recently, and word is that they were blown away by how good it was, and are very excited about the film's release in June.

Superman's Origin

By now, everyone knows who Superman is. But do we know how he became the Greatest Superhero of all TIME?? Here is a short story of his origin.......

Superman is born Kal-El on the alien planet Krypton. His parents, Jor-El and Lara become aware of Krypton's impending destruction and Jor-El begins constructing a spacecraft that would carry Kal-El to Earth. During Krypton's last moments, Jor-El places young Kal-El in the spacecraft and launches it. Jor-El and Lara die as the spacecraft barely escapes Krypton's fate. The explosion transforms planetary debris into kryptonite, a radioactive substance that is lethal to superpowered (as by Earth's yellow sun) Kryptonians.

The spacecraft lands in the rural United States, where it is found by a passing motorist. Jonathan and Martha Kent adopt Kal-El and name him Clark Kent. As Clark grows up on Earth, he and his adoptive parents discover that he has superhuman powers. The Kents teach Clark to use these powers responsibly to help others and fight crime.

Clark keeps his powers secret in order to protect his family and friends, who might be endangered by his criminal enemies. In order to use his powers to help humanity, Clark creates the alter egoof Superman. A number of elements are added to each identity to keep them distinct enough to prevent the casual observer from matching them. Superman wears a characteristic red and blue costume with a letter "S" emblem and a cape. Clark Kent takes to wearing glasses, styling his hair differently, changing his body language, significantly altering his voice, and wearing looser clothing and suits that hide his physique.

Clark Kent moves to Metropolis and takes a job as a reporter at the Daily Planet, where he meets his friends and co-workers, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen and Editor Perry White.
